New Aga Khan stallions Harzand (Ire) (Sea The Stars {Ire}) and Dariyan (Fr) (Shamardal) have had their first mares scanned in foal. Dual Derby winner Harzand stands alongside his sire at Gilltown Stud in Ireland for €15,000. His first book includes the dams of champion Zarkava (Ire) (Zamindar) and G1 Prix Marcel Boussac winner Rosanara (Fr) (Sinndar {Ire}).
G1 Prix Ganay winner Dariyan stands at Haras de Bonneval in France for €8,000. The son of G1 Hong Kong Vase winner Daryakana (Fr) (Selkirk) is set to cover the dam of top-class stayer Vazirabad (Fr) (Manduro {Ger}), as well as the dam of G1 Prix de Diane-second Argentina (Ire) (Sadler's Wells) and sisters to G1 St Leger winner Arctic Cosmos (North Light {Ire}).
