+IS EVERYBODY HAPPY (c, 2, Maclean's Music–Water in the Pond, by Medaglia d'Oro) was hammered down to 2-5 favoritism for his career debut and did not disappoint, becoming the first winner for his freshman sire (by Distorted Humor). A Glen Hill Farm homebred, the dark bay posted four local works in preparation for this unveiling, including a bullet three-furlong drill in :35 flat (1/14) from the gate May 20. Away in good order, the colt momentarily stalked the pace but soon established control through a quarter-mile in :22 2/5. Is Everybody Happy was in full command turning for home and coasted to the wire 3 1/2 lengths clear of Howboutthemcowboys (Congaree). The winner, who hails from the extended family of MGSW Yearly Report (General Meeting) and her GISW daughter Condo Commando (Tiz Wonderful), has a yearling full-sister named Retention as well as an unnamed weanling full-brother. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, $20,400. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton.
