Harrah's Louisiana Downs will host a qualifier for the $2.5 million National Horseplayers Championship June 17, the Bossier City track announced Tuesday.
The entry fee for the live format contest will be $300, with $150 of that going to the entrant's live bankroll. The top two finishers will win a berth to the 19th NHC in Las Vegas, to be held Feb. 8-11, 2018, as well as a $400 travel voucher and hotel accommodations for four nights. The contest will be limited to 100 entries, maximum two per person, and all participants must be NHC Tour members. Registration opens May 30.
