ITBA 2018 Expo announced for January

The Irish Thoroughbred Breeders' Association Expo 2018, in partnership with Connolly's Redmills, will be held at the Goffs Sales Complex on Jan. 26-27, ITBA announced on Monday. Essentially a trade fair for the bloodstock industry, it will provide exhibitors a platform to showcase and sell their products. There will also be an event programme over the two days, including a Dragons Den type business competition to recognise entrepreneurialism and talent in the equine industry, educational presentations and an interactive forum titled “What if–a Vision for 2028” which entails mapping a blueprint for the industry. ITBA Next Generation will also be hosting a number of events, among them an intervarsity challenge and a seminar featuring key up and coming next generation trailblazers.

Commenting on the event, ITBA CEO Shane O'Dwyer said, “The Irish breeding and racing industry has long being renowned throughout the world for its excellence. ITBA EXPO '18 will enhance this reputation by showcasing the latest innovations from machinery to technology, veterinary to equine nutrition, stallion selection to land management. We hope to have details finalised in the coming weeks but in the meantime potential exhibitors are advised to contact the ITBA office to book your stand.”
