Heatherly Set For Chairman's Sale

Heatherly | Racing and Sports

Group 2-winning mare Heatherly (Aus) (Lonhro {Aus}–Dancing Heather {Aus}, by Danzero {Aus}), who starts favourite for Saturday's Listed Bob Hoystead H. at Flemington, is entered for Inglis's Chairman's Sale-Elite Breeding Prospects session on Apr. 7.

The 4-year-old mare, trainer by Mathew Ellerton and Simon Zahra, has won or placed in six stakes, including placings in last year's G1 Moir S. and G1 Oakleigh Plate. She was beaten two lengths on seasonal debut when sixth in the G1 Black Caviar Lightning S. at Flemington on Feb. 18.

Out of the placings only twice in 13 starts, Heatherly has earned over a half-million in prizemoney. She is out of a half-sister to G1 Stradbroke H. Linton (Aus) (Galileo {Ire}), and further down her page is New Zealand Group 1 winner Sharvasti (NZ) (Montjeu {Ire}).
