Groupie Doll (Bowman's Band), who successfully defended her title in the GI Breeders' Cup Filly/Mare Sprint at Santa Anita Nov. 2, proved an easy winner of a second consecutive Eclipse Award as the nation's top female sprinter. Also victorious in defense of her title in the GII Presque Isle Downs Masters S., Groupie Doll is slated to make her final career appearance in the GII Hurricane Bertie S. at Gulfstream in early February.
