Gainesway has released stud fees for its 2020 stallion roster, led by Tapit (Pulpit) at $200,000, which is a $25,000 decrease from 2019.
“Tapit continues to have a tremendous impact on the breed,” said Gainesway's Antony Beck. “We're thrilled to watch the success of his sons at stud. Constitution and Frosted have been exceptionally well received. And we're very happy to have several of his promising young sons standing at Gainesway in Anchor Down, Tapizar and Tapwrit.”
Empire Maker (Unbridled), who will be represented by GISW Eight Rings in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile, will have his fee announced at a later date.
The rest of the roster is as follows with all fees LFSN: Afleet Alex (Northern Afleet) at $6,500; Anchor Down (Tapit) at $7,500; Bird Song (Unbridled's Song) at $5,000; Birdstone (Grindstone) at $5,000; Karakontie (Jpn) (Bernstein); Tapizar (Tapit) at $10,000; and Tapwrit (Tapit) at $12,500.
