With GI Breeders' Cup Distaff winner Forever Unbridled (Unbridled's Song) headed towards an appearance in the GI Pegasus World Cup Invitational in late January, owner and breeder' Charles Fipke might have two runners in the race after connections declared that GI Clark H. hero Seeking the Soul (Perfect Soul {Ire}) could also make the trip to Miami.

“It's such an honor to win the Clark,” trainer Dallas Stewart said. “I hope he's the second horse in the barn that will be in the Pegasus. We'll see. I just want to enjoy this win a little longer and I'll get with Mr. Fipke to figure it out. He's in great shape after the race.”

A maiden and Keeneland allowance winner and twice placed at Grade III level at three in 2016, Seeking the Soul upset a Saratoga allowance field at 9-1 in July and was third in the GIII Lukas Classic two starts later. The bay established a new Keeneland track record in winning an 8 1/2-furlong allowance by nine lengths in 1:41.36 Oct. 2 ahead of his first black-type success in the Clark.
