The Charlie Appleby trained Emotionless (Ire) (Shamardal), an exciting juvenile last season, is the subject of a positive bulletin from his trainer. The 3-year-old looked a high class colt when easily winning the G2 At The Races Champagne S. at Doncaster last year before a knee injury was discovered following a disappointing effort behind Air Force Blue (War Front) in the G1 Dubai Dewhurst S. in October. The Godolphin runner seems to have made a full recovery with Appleby commenting, “He's been cantering for three or four weeks and hopefully he'll progress towards a trial and we'll see where we stand. We'll see what the ground is like and what else is turning up for the Craven and the Greenham nearer the time and make a plan, but he's sound and everything is going well.”
