Distinctiv Passion (With Distinction–Dance Forthe Green, by West By West) has been sold to Alfredo Camogli's Haras El Alfalfar and will stand the upcoming Southern Hemisphere season in Argentina.

Bred in Florida by Harold Plumley, the dark bay was third as a 3-year-old in the GI Santa Anita Sprint Championship and made the grade the following season with a victory in the GIII Midnight Lute S. He added a success in the GIII Los Angeles S. the following season. In limited appearances in turf sprints, Distinctiv Passion won twice, breaking 56 seconds on each occasion, and was placed twice in the Green Flash H. at Del Mar. He retires with 11 wins from 28 starts and earnings of $564,855. Distinctiv Passion will stand along Key Deputy (Deputy Minister) and Alcindor (Unbridled's Song) at El Alfalfar, the farm who developed champion sire Easing Along (Storm Cat), who spent one season at Claiborne Farm, in the US.

“I was trying to get this horse for almost two years…I like him so much because I like speed… And he was very, fast”, said Camogli. —Diego Mitagstein contributed to this story
