A Hartley/DeRenzo-consigned son of Curlin–Franscat, by Stormin Fever (hip 388), who shared the sale's fastest time of :10 flat for his under-tack preview, was knocked down to Mark Casse for $1.5 million Tuesday afternoon as the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training rolled on in Northern Maryland. A half-brother to seven winners from as many to race from his dam, including GSW Swinger's Party (Medaglia d'Oro), the Florida-bred was knocked down to these noted resellers for a sales-topping $475,000 at the Fasig-Tipton July Sale in Lexington last summer.
