Bloodstock agent Mike Ryan was forced to a cool $1 million to secure a colt by Curlin during Friday's fourth session of the Keeneland September sale. The Irishman was bidding on behalf of E5 Racing and Magic Cap. The yearling, consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales on behalf of Stonestreet, is out of multiple stakes winner and graded stakes placed Glinda the Good (Hard Spun). Earlier in Friday's session, Ryan had gone to $520,000 to acquire a colt by Paynter on behalf of the same clients.
