Kinsley Kisses | Leslie Martin

7th-TAM, $20,300, Alw (NW1X)/Opt. Clm ($75,000), 3-13, 3yo, f, 7f, 1:23.17, ft.

KINSLEY KISSES (f, 3, Congrats–Winter Forest, by Forestry), a $200,000 KEESEP yearling, was an impressive wire-to-wire debut winner as the 4-5 favorite going seven furlongs at Gulfstream Jan. 16. Hammered down to 1-5 odds to make it two in a row in the Sunday feature at Tampa Bay, the chestnut assumed command soon after the start and glided along through splits of :22.54 and :45.25. Never truly threatened, she reported home five lengths clear of Found a Diamond (Colonel John). Winter Forest, a full-sister to stakes winner and graded stakes placed Ever Elusive, was purchased by Stonestreet for $975,000 at the 2005 Keeneland September sale. Her Ghostzapper filly sold for $100,000 at last year's September sale and is catalogued for the upcoming Barretts March sale. The mare produced a filly by Astrology last year and was bred back to Curlin. Click for the Equibase.com chart or VIDEO, sponsored by Fasig-Tipton. Lifetime Record: 2-2-0-0, $36,000.
