The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) has announced that Churchill Downs, Incorporated (CDI) has re-joined the organization and that Bill Mudd, President and Chief Operating Officer of CDI, has been appointed to the NTRA's Board of Directors.
“We are delighted to welcome Churchill Downs Incorporated back into the NTRA,” said Alex Waldrop, NTRA President & CEO. “For many years CDI has been a pioneering leader in our industry and we look forward to receiving their input on NTRA matters as we work together for the betterment of Thoroughbred racing nationally.”
Mudd added, “Churchill Downs Incorporated is delighted to join the NTRA and is strongly aligned with achieving their goals. It is important that we all work together to improve the popularity, welfare and integrity of the sport.”
