Charles Town will race 166 days in 2017 following approval by the West Virginia Racing Commission, it was announced Tuesday. The weekly calendar calls for live racing Wednesdays through Saturdays from Jan. 11 through May 20 and Thursdays through Saturdays from June 1 through Dec. 23. Post time for Charles Town's standard cards is 7 p.m. ET, while the GI Charles Town Classic S. card Apr. 22 will have a special 12:45 p.m. post. The six-furlong oval's Race for the Ribbon day Sept. 23 will get underway at 5 p.m.
