In a contentious division, Champagne Room (Broken Vow) was named Eclipse champion 2-year-old filly during Saturday's awards ceremony at Gulfstream Park. The bay filly broke her maiden in the GII Sorrento S. in her second trip to the post. Third in the GI Del Mar Debutante and fourth in the GI Chandelier S., she capped her season with a 33-1 upset victory in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. Champagne Room received 202 first-place votes, followed by New Money Honey (Medaglia d'Oro) with 21.
