Chad Brown, who led the nation's trainers by earnings and by graded victories in 2016, earned his first title as Eclipse Champion Trainer during Saturday's awards ceremony at Gulfstream Park. Brown's 12 Grade I winners in 2016 included Eclipse finalists New Money Honey (Medaglia d'Oro), Flintshire (GB) (Dansili {GB}), Practical Joker (Into Mischief) and Lady Eli (Divine Park).
