The Consignors and Commercial Breeders Association's (CBA) annual symposium will be held Monday, Apr. 17 in the Keeneland Sales Pavilion. It will begin at 2 p.m. Senator Damon Thayer will open proceedings with his state of the industry message, followed by Vision 20/20, the Godolphin Flying Start, the TAA, The Jockey Club and Plus Vital. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served between 5-6 p.m. The highlight of the symposium will follow with the toast and roast of trainer D. Wayne Lukas. Many of his proteges, including Randy Bradshaw, Mike Maker, Kiaran McLaughlin, Todd Pletcher, Dallas Stewart and George Weaver, will share their experiences coming up under the Hall of Famer. The panel will be hosted by track announcer Frank Mirahmadi.
