Catch a Glimpse Off To Japan

Catch a Glimpse | Coady

Catch a Glimpse (City Zip–Halo River, by Irish River {Fr}), Canada's horse of the year in 2015 on the strength of her victory in the GI Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, is off to Japan after being knocked down to K I Farm for $3 million as the Fasig-Tipton November Sale rolled on into Monday evening in Lexington. The blaze-faced chestnut, consigned to the sale by Meg Levy's Bluewater Sales agency as hip 157, won her first eight races once switched to the turf by trainer Mark Casse, including a tough, front-running success in the GI Belmont Oaks Invitational S. A $75,000 Keeneland September yearling purchase, Catch a Glimpse, also the Sovereign Award-winning juvenile filly and grass female in Canada in 2015, has racked up eight wins from 14 starts to date for $1,850,627. K I Farm also purchased Canadian Horse of the Year Lexie Lou (Sligo Bay {Ire}) from the Bluewater Sales consignment at KEENOV last fall.
