Bullet Drill for Arrogate

Bob Baffert & Arrogate | Sarah Andrew

Juddmonte Farms' Arrogate (Unbridled's Song) worked four furlongs in a bullet :46.80 Sunday at Santa Anita. The work was the fastest of 105 at the distance.

“He went nice,” trainer Bob Baffert said after the work. “I gave him a little target…He's doing really well.”

Arrogate worked in company with the 4-year-old stakes-winning filly Faithfully (Smart Strike), who was credited with a workout time of :47.80.

Asked if the July 22 GII San Diego H. at Del Mar remained Arrogate's next target, Baffert said, “It depends. I think he needs it.”

Winner of last year's GI Travers S. and GI Breeders' Cup Classic, Arrogate has made two starts so far this year, winning both the Jan. 28 GI Pegasus World Cup Invitational and the Mar. 25 G1 Dubai World Cup.
