Belterra Park Hosts Best of Ohio Series

Belterra Park near Cincinnati, Ohio, plays host to the $750,000 Best of Ohio series Saturday afternoon. Five races, each worth $150,000, are restricted to Ohio-breds, with horse of the year honors on the line. The Chris Hartman-trained millionaire Rivers Run Deep (Ready's Image) will be favored to win the Best of Ohio Sprint for the fourth year in a row as he goes for career victory number 20. Loooch Racing's Mo Dont No (Uncle Mo) is the reigning Ohio horse of the year and will look to take his batting average to .700 when in search of a second straight success in the Best of Ohio Endurance. Two-year-olds males and females will contest the Best of Ohio Juvenile and John W. Galbreath Memorial S., respectively, while the fifth event is the Best of Ohio Distaff.
