BC Wagering Menu Announced

The wagering menu and post times for the Breeders' Cup World Championships at Keeneland Oct. 30-31 were announced Thursday. This year's wagering menu features two Breeders' Cup Ultra Pick Sixes with a $1 minimum, 10-cent Superfectas, 50-cent Trifectas, Pick 3's, Pick 4's and Pick 5's, a Distaff-Classic Daily Double and two Pick 5 wagers to open both Friday and Saturday programs.

In addition to the standard win, place and show betting, which will have a $1 minimum, there will be exacta and trifecta wagering on every race and rolling Pick 3 wagers and rolling daily double wagers beginning with the first race and continuing through all races Friday and Saturday. There will also be $1 minimums on all exacta wagers, the Distaff-Classic Daily Double and all other daily doubles. The takeout rates on all win, place and show wagers is 16%, and the take out on all other wagers is 19%.

There will be a total of 10 races, four of which are Breeders' Cup races Friday, Oct. 30, and 12 races Saturday, Oct. 31, with nine being Breeders' Cup races. Friday's card gets underway at 12:30 p.m. ET, while Saturday's card kicks off at 11 a.m. ET. Post time for the GI Longines Breeders' Cup Distaff is 5:35 p.m. Oct. 30 and post time for the $5 million GI Breeders' Cup Classic is also 5:35 p.m. Oct. 31.

The official race order and guaranteed wagering pools for both Breeders' Cup days will be announced Wednesday, Oct. 22 and the remainder of each card will be set when post positions are drawn Monday, Oct. 26.

Each Breeders' Cup race will feature a maximum of 14 starts, except the GI Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile and GI Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf, which will each have a maximum of 12 starters.
