Aurelia Pleases In Newmarket Spin

Lady Aurelia | Racing Post

Unbeaten juvenile Lady Aurelia (Scat Daddy) came through a racecourse workout in pleasing style at Newmarket on Saturday. Frankie Dettori partnered the Wesley Ward trained filly in a gallop over the Rowley Mile track and connections were satisfied with her condition ahead of her next planned outing in the G1 Cheveley Park S. at Newmarket Sept. 24. Rachel Rodman is overseeing proceedings on Ward's behalf and reported, “Everything is good. She worked on the Rowley Mile and Frankie was very happy. It was nothing too strenuous, it was just to give her a feel of the track more than anything and everything went well. Hopefully she'll come out of this well and we'll see where we're at. She'll work maybe twice more before the race, but we were happy with how it went this morning.” Lady Aurelia confirmed her electric display at Royal Ascot when beating colts in the G1 Darley Prix Morny at Deauville Aug. 21 and will be a warm order back against her own sex in three weeks time.
