Santa Anita Park will offer 28 graded stakes races at its upcoming fall meet, which will be highlighted by Breeders' Cup Championship weekend Nov. 4 and 5. The California track, which will host the championships for a record ninth time this year, will offer six Grade I 'Win and You're In' challenge races which provide automatic berths into the Breeders' Cup.

“We're excited to be getting everyone back as we anticipate some great racing in advance of the Breeders' Cup in November,” said Santa Anita's Vice President of Racing Rick Hammerle.

Five Grade I Breeders' Cup preps will be offered Oct. 1: the FrontRunner S. for 2-year-olds at 1 1/16 miles, the Awesome Again S. for 3-year-olds and up at 1 1/8 miles, the Rodeo Drive S. for fillies and mares going 1 1/4 miles on turf, the Zenyatta S. for fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles and the Chandelier S. for 2-year-old fillies at 1 1/16 miles.

The GI Santa Anita Sprint Championship will be held Oct. 7 as a prep for the GI Breeders' Cup Sprint.

Santa Anita's 23-day Autumn Meet begins Sept. 30 and runs through Nov. 6.
