Richard Thalheimer Dies

Richard Thalheimer, who worked as a professor of Equine Administration at the University of Louisville, passed away Monday at age 72 after a battle with ALS. Prior to working at the University of Louisville, Thalheimer, who also held several government positions, founded Thalheimer Equine Associates and Thalheimer Research Associates. He is survived by his wife Sally, children Mark and Beth and four grandchildren. Donations can be made in Thalheimer's name to the ALS Research Program at Johns Hopkins Hospital, The Thalheimer Family Scholarship Fund or the Albert & Helen Thalheimer Fund.
