Joe Sutton's BLAST (Harlan's Holiday) showed a fair bit of promise in two late-season starts in 2015, belying debut odds of 7-1 to defeat future SP Durango (First Samurai) by 1 3/4 lengths at Churchill Downs Sept. 25. The dark bay has trained forwardly at Palm Meadows for trainer Eddie Kenneally, including a best-of-61 half-mile in :48 2/5 Feb. 27. TJCIS PPs
