Powered by Mac-Lloyd, a tracking system was employed on every runner for the first time in the 2019 G1 Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. Valuable data was collected (see chart) and two races per each ParisLongchamp meeting will have the system utilised. Notably, the sensors can be accessed both during and after the race, with the data available to racing professionals like trainers, owners, and jockeys, as well as punters.
