Shifted out to the four path approaching the quarter pole, he was widest turning for home, forged to the front in the stretch, drawing clear to win by a convincing 4 1/2-length margin over Him She Kisses (Conveyance). Prior to his debut victory, the colt finished runner up going five furlongs at Belmont in June before filling the same spot behind subsequent runaway GI Hopeful winner Basin (Liam's Map) going a furlong farther at the Spa July 20.
