The multiple Eclipse Award-winning owners/breeders Ken and Sarah Ramsey asked a Kentucky court Aug. 12 to oppose a recent motion for summary judgment in a lawsuit filed by trainer Wesley Ward over the married couple's alleged failure to pay $903,274 in training bills. According to the Blood-Horse, which first reported the story, the money dispute now involves "Ward retaining control of 30 horses" owned by the Ramseys. Trainers Wesley Ward and Mike Maker have filed separate lawsuits against owners Ken and Sarah Ramsey over unpaid training bills.
