Co-Owner Restrepo to Donate Portion of Mage's Earnings to Cancer Charity

GI Kentucky Derby winner Mage (Good Magic) is owned by OGMA Investments, LLC, Ramiro Restrepo, Sterling Racing LLC and CMNWLTH, but when he tackles a tough group of opponents in Saturday's GI Haskell S. he will be running for more than just the four ownership groups. Dual Classic Winner War Emblem Dies

War Emblem (Our Emblem-Sweetest Lady, by Lord at War), winner of the 2002 GI Kentucky Derby and GI Preakness S. died early Wednesday morning at Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Center in Georgetown, Kentucky. Pensioned at Old Friends since 2015, he was 21. While the cause of death is thought to be the result of a paddock accident, exact details are unknown. Cloud Computing Sires First Foal

GI Preakness S. victor Cloud Computing (Maclean's Music) sired his first foal, a colt born Jan. 9 at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds in New York. Bred by Howard Nolan Jr., the dark bay colt is out of the young Girolamo mare Best Manners, whose dam is three-time black type winner India Halo (Arg).
