Godolphin's Charming Thought (GB) (Oasis Dream {GB}), winner of the G1 Middle Park S. in 2014, is working towards a comeback and holds an entry in the G1 Darley July Cup at Newmarket July 9. The 4-year-old, who won three of his four outings as a juvenile, has not been seen since winning the Middle Park, having missed all of last season due to injury.
“Charming Thought is back cantering away. He has done well, physically, and he looks like a sprinter,” said trainer Charlie Appleby. “We have not put a target out there yet, but we have made an entry in the July Cup for him. Ideally, we need to get a run in before then if he runs in that.”
