Ya Primo to Join Chad Brown Barn

Ya Primo (Chi) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}), who won the G1 Gran Premio Latinoamericano (video). in Chile Sunday, will be joining the barn of trainer Chad Brown. Sol Kumin and partners Mark and Jose Lore, in a deal brokered by Fernando Dias-Valdez, purchased a 50% interest in the 3-year-old prior to Sunday's race.

Ya Primo, who was campaigned in Chile by Stud La Pacita and Javier Carvallo, also won this year's G1 El Derby and G2 Copa Juan S. Jackson. He has won five of nine starts to date.
