Wanamaker's, the online auction house, will offer its fourth auction Thursday, Oct. 8, with the catalogue now live. The catalogue features weanlings, yearlings, racing prospects, and broodmares. In addition to being able to view pictures and videos, prospective buyers may schedule in-person inspections with sellers. Buyers must register to bid.
“As we enter into our fourth-ever auction, we appreciate the continued support from sellers and buyers,” said Wanamaker's co-founder Jack Carlino. “We were so excited to see Fiya's performance last weekend for new owner Rob Masiello and we are confident we have some more serious talent in this catalogue as well.”
Fiya (Friesan Fire) topped the second online Wanamaker's auction at $400,000 in late July and made his first start for his new connections in a Sept. 20 allowance at Belmont, getting a 100 Beyer Speed Figure. Among the entrants in October's catalogue is Caravel (Mizzen Mast), winner of the Aug. 24 Lady Erie S. at Presque Isle Downs. She is entered in Saturday's $100,000 Hilltop S. at Pimlico.
The catalogue can be found at Wanamaker's. Live bidding opens Oct. 8 at 8:00 a.m. ET, with the first listing closing at 5:00 p.m. ET and subsequent listings ending every three minutes.
