Ulysses Scratched from Turf

Flaxman Holdings' Ulysses (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), the 7-2 morning-line favorite for Saturday's $4-million GI Breeders' Cup Turf, has was withdrawn from the race late Friday upon veterinary advice.

Alan Cooper, racing manager to the Niarchos family, told the TDN's Kelsey Riley that Ulysses was found to have “some heat in his near-fore fetlock and [trainer] Sir Michael [Stoute] didn't want to take any chances with him.”
