Students from the UK and Ireland arrived at The National Stud this week to begin the 2020 TBA Entry to Stud Employment Programme, The National Stud announced on Monday. The Newmarket Heath Ride is scheduled for Sept. 6, Racing Welfare announced on Tuesday. The charity fundraiser will be the first in-person event since the coronavirus pandemic began. Entries will open on Aug. 10, with a 150-rider limit and close on Aug. 31. Despite the ongoing restrictions due to the coronavirus, the 2020 National Stud Diploma ceremony took place via live stream from the Joan Westbrook Lecture Theatre on Friday, the stud announced on Saturday.
