New Vocation to Hold Silent Auction on LA Derby Day

Owners with horses racing at the Fair Grounds on Louisiana Derby Day Saturday are being encouraged to pledge a percentage of their earnings to support New Vocations efforts. All funds raised will go directly to support the horses currently at the Louisiana facility, which has already served over 50 retired racehorses since opening last year. Held concurrently with the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event at the Kentucky Horse Park, New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program will host its fifth annual Open Barn and BBQ event at its Lexington facility on Mereworth Farm, Friday, Apr. 24 from 5:30-8:30 p.m (gates open at 5pm).
