Over $100k Raised Through New Vocations Breeders' Cup Pledge

More than $100,000 was raised during this year's Breeders' Cup Pledge, New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program announced Monday. That total was driven by four horses with pledge connections--Fierceness (City of Light), Unquestionable (FR) (Wootton Bassett {GB}), Goodnight Olive (Ghostzapper) and Auguste Rodin (Ire) (Deep Impact {Jpn})--winning their races on Future Stars Friday and Championship Saturday. RRP's Makeover Marketplace Expands to Include Prospects

The Retired Racehorse Project (RRP) has expanded the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) Makeover Marketplace catalogue to include adoptable Thoroughbred Makeover prospects eligible for the 2022 competition. The catalogue also will continue to feature sport horse prospects who are offered for sale by their trainers at the conclusion of the Makeover process. 50-Plus Cup Contenders Pledge Support to New Vocations

Over 50 connections of horses running in Friday and Saturday's Breeders' Cup races have pledged a portion of their runners' earnings to New Vocations, the largest racehorse adoption program in the country.
