NYRA Announces Post Times for Saratoga Meet

The New York Racing Association, Inc. has announced post times for the 2023 40-day summer meet at historic Saratoga Race Course, which will include 71 stakes worth $20.8 million in total purses. Highlighted by the GI Travers S. card Aug. 26, the 2023 summer meet will open on Thursday, July 13 and continue through Monday, Sept. 4. Del Mar Post Times Adjusted

Del Mar' Friday post time has been moved up to 3 p.m. instead of the usual 4 p.m. start time. The Friday switch to 3 p.m. will be the first of four such Friday changes--Aug. 19, Aug. 26, Sept. 2 and Sept. 9--going through to the track's final Sept. 9, 10, 11 weekend. The Breeders' Cup today announced post times for the Nov. 5-6 World Championships at Del Mar. There will be 14 Breeders' Cup races and eight undercard races. The official race order and wagering menu for both days of the Championships will be announced Oct. 27. Woodbine Changes Post Times for Rest of Meet

Woodbine Entertainment announced Friday that post times for the rest of the meet will be altered. Beginning Sunday, Nov. 8, first post at the Ontario oval will be at 2:25 p.m. on Thursdays, 4:45 p.m. on Fridays, and 1:25 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
