Sixth Annual Photo Finish Exhibit Accepting Submissions

The sixth annual Photo Finish juried exhibition hosted at the National Museum of Racing is now accepting submissions from professional and amateur photographers. Hopefuls are encouraged to submit up to two entries relating to Thoroughbred racing in America. These include, but are not limited to, racing and training scenes, backstretch shots, life on the farm, and crowd emotions. Creative and unique perspectives are also encouraged. Photographers from eleven states and Ireland, including TDN's Sara Gordon, are represented in the fifth annual Photo Finish exhibition on display through Feb. 4 in von Stade Gallery at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, New York, the repository said in a release Wednesday. Museum Accepting Photo Finish Submissions

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame is now accepting submissions for the fifth annual juried photography exhibition, Photo Finish. Entries may be submitted by professional as well as amateur photographers and must relate to the sport of Thoroughbred racing in America. Any aspect of the racing experience may be depicted, including, but not limited to, racing scenes, the backstretch, and emotions of the crowd. Two submissions will be allowed per person. The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame has announced the return of its juried photography exhibition program, Photo Finish. The Museum is now accepting submissions for consideration from both amateur and professional photographers of scenes depicting Thoroughbred racing in America for its third annual exhibition. Equibase Acquires Timing Assets of ATC

Officials at Equibase Company LLC have announced that it has Axcis Information Inc. (TrackMaster), a wholly owned subsidiary, has entered into an agreement with American Teletimer Corporation (ATC) to acquire the latter's timing assets. ATC is a leading provider of timing, photo finish and video content for Thoroughbred, Standardbred and Greyhound racing and the company will retain the photo finish and television production segments of their business.
