The Breeders' Cup is reminding all horsemen that this Saturday, Aug. 15 at 11:59 p.m. ET is the discount deadline for nomination of horses of racing age to the Breeders' Cup program. All horses must be Breeders' Cup-nominated in order to compete in the Breeders' Cup. Nominations for the Race Track Chaplaincy of America's White Horse Awards are now open. The White Horse Award is for individuals who have done something heroic on behalf of a human or horse. Nominations are also open for the Community Service Award, which is given to an individual who has made significant contributions to the welfare of racetrack chaplaincy ministries. Nominations are due Sept. 14 and the award ceremony will be held virtually.
