Latest Dilger Scholarships Named

Jayne Redmond and Darcie Murray are the latest scholarship recipients from the Gerry Dilger Equine Scholarship Foundation, which benefits young people globally who are eager to learn and experience the bloodstock business by granting them the opportunity to travel, work and learn in the United States and Ireland. Redmond, from County Clare, is currently an equine science student at the University of Limerick. The Irish National Stud Thoroughbred Breeding Course, which celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year, enjoyed a more low-key event than usual Friday, June 25 to celebrate the graduation of the class of 2021. Heading this season's award winners, Jake Scott Campbell, Co. Kildare received the Gold Medal, which is presented to someone who has demonstrated an outstanding performance in all aspects of the course. Margaux Farm Appoints Tiller As Sales, Marketing & Client Liaison

Margaux Farm announced the appointment of Shayna Tiller as Sales, Marketing and Client Liaison, beginning Mar. 23, 2021. Tiller, who grew up near Laurel Park, pursued a career in racing in college. After her first summer writing for the Saratoga Special, she served a stint foaling mares at McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds and as an exercise rider in the morning. She also interned with Fasig-Tipton before completing the Irish National Stud Breeding Course. INS Holds Breeding Course Graduation

The 27 students of the Irish National Stud's 2020 breeding course graduated on Friday, with 15 receiving honours. The various awards distributed included The Irish Field "Blue Hen" Award to Hannah Faber; the John Durkan Award to Anna Fairbank; and the INS Jonathan Fitzpatrick Internship to Ines Goupil De Bouille.
