Entries for the Aug. 18 Irish EBF Barrier Trials at Dundalk close at 5 p.m. GMT on Wednesday, Aug. 11, Irish Thoroughbred Marketing announced on Tuesday. IRE Incentive Races Added in Britain

Additional British races have been added to Horse Racing Ireland's IRE Incentive scheme. IRE Incentive races will be held at Nottingham, Newbury, Pontefract, York, Musselburgh, Salisbury and Goodwood in August and September. The IRE Incentive scheme awards a €10,000 Irish Sales voucher to the owners of Irish-bred winners of designated races. Vouchers can be spent on Irish-breds at Irish public auction Sales. The €200,000 Irish EBF Ballyhane S., run at Naas on Aug. 2, has 278 juveniles entered after the latest forfeit stage, Naas Racecourse announced on Friday. EBF Yearling Nomination Deadline on May 31

The deadline to register yearlings to the European Breeders Fund is on Monday, May 31, the EBF announced on Wednesday. Kerry Murphy of the EBF said, "This deadline mostly relates to yearlings by North American sires either being campaigned in Europe or being catalogued in a yearling sale. The cost at this stage is $600 and once nominated there is nothing further to pay to qualify for over €5 million worth of extra prize money throughout Europe in 2021. EBF Pledges £1.8-Million To Prizemoney In 2021

The European Breeders' Fund has pledged £1.8-million of its earnings from British-based stallions to prizemoney enhancements in 2021 between flat and National Hunt races, focused between Class 4 and listed level races. The £1.68-million pledged to flat racing covers more than 600 races, and is the EBF's joint-highest contribution equal to 2019. In 2020, 595 flat races were run in 2020 under EBF conditions, receiving £1,430,250 of funding. British EBF To Add £750,000 To Purses

The British European Breeders' Fund will add £750,000 to British purses through the remainder of the year, returning its contributions to pre-Covid levels. All races carrying EBF conditions will be run from £1,000 to £25,000 above the minimum value.
