Leading the way at Cape Racing's Ready To Run and Unbroken 2-Year-Old Sale at Hollywoodbets in Durbanville on Sunday was a colt (lot 48) by freshman sire One World (SAf) (Captain Al {Saf}). Tattersalls has joined forces with Cape Thoroughbred Sales (CTS) in a joint venture focussed on the 2023 CTS Cape Premier Yearling Sale on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023. Cape Premier Sale Postponed

The Cape Premier Yearling Sale, which has previously taken place in Cape Town in late January and was this year scheduled for Jan. 28 at De Grendel Estate, has been postponed to a provisional date of Mar. 14. A colt by South African champion sire Silvano (Ger) took top billing at the Cape Premier Yearling Sale staged in Cape Town on Thursday. Offered as lot 99 by Drakenstein Stud, the bay was bought by Nicholas Jonsson for R3-million (£159,394/€187,124).
