Brenda Davis, 65 has been appointed to the California Horse Racing Board and Wendy Mitchell, 49, has been reappointed. Davis has been principal at the Brenda Davis Law Group since 2007. She was managing counsel at the California Farm Bureau Federation from 1999 to 2007. Mitchell has served the CHRB since 2019. Mitchell has been principal of WM Consulting Inc. since 2006. Randazzo Appointed As Jockey Club Steward at Finger Lakes

Samantha Randazzo has been named The Jockey Club steward at Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack upon the resignation of Don Combs. Randazzo will start at Finger Lakes Aug. 3. Tony Patterson will join Lone Star Park as the new Racing Secretary for both the Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse meets.Patterson will assume his new role Aug. 3, at the tail-end of the Thoroughbred meet which wraps up Aug. 12.
