Social Inclusion & Honor Code Prep for the Wood

Undefeated Social Inclusion (Pioneerof the Nile) worked at Gulfstream yesterday, going three panels in :36 flat.
“He looked perfect, wonderful,” trainer Manny Azpurua said. “He was spectacular. He went so easily and he came back like he didn't even want a drink of water. The rider was so pleased about the way he went. The main thing is he's a very sound horse and he feels good. He's just doing everything right.”
The bay was last seen going wire-to-wire to win over GII Remsen S. hero Honor Code (A.P. Indy) in a Gulfstream allowance Mar. 12. Owner Ron Sanchez said Social Inclusion will put in two more works a Gulfstream Mar. 26 and 29, before heading to Aqueduct for a start in the GI Wood Memorial Apr. 5.
“It was our original plan and we won't change the plan,” Sanchez said. “We have to give him some time. We think he can win anywhere. He had a very easy workout, very relaxed. He doesn't need much. The jockey doesn't even ask him to run. He came back with no sign of being tired at all and full of energy. We'll see what happens.”
While Sanchez had received several purchase offers following the colt's recent 10-length romp, no decisions have been made.
'TDN Rising Star' Honor Code also hit the track in Hallandale yesterday, posting a half-mile move in :48.12 and gallloping out five panels in 1:01.60.
“I thought he went good,” Hall of Famer Shug McGaughey said. “I watched from the backside so I don't know what he went in, but I thought he went fine. He's doing very good.”
The hulking bay will work at Gulfstream again Mar. 29 before heading back to New York for the Wood.
“We just wanted to see what his energy level is and see how he comes out of it and whether he moves forward or not,” McGaughey said. “I think he's come out of his race good and is going in the right direction. I just want to make sure he keeps going in the right direction.”
