Peter McGauran, chief executive officer of Racing Australia, will not seek to renew his employment contract when it comes due in December. McGauran, the CEO of Racing Australia for 4 1/2 years, has accepted an as-yet to be announced senior corporate position.
“The board joins me in thanking Peter for his hard work and dedication and in wishing him well in the future,” said Racing Australia Chairman John Messara. “I especially have worked closely with Peter and well know the commitment he brought to a difficult role. The board will consider a replacement process at its September board meeting.”
