The 159th running of the $1-million Queen's Plate, the first jewel of the Canadian Triple Crown, will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018–a shift from its usual spot on Sunday of that weekend. North America's oldest continuously run stakes race will anchor the three-day Queen's Plate Festival, to be held June 29 through July 1. In addition to the live racing, the event features concerts and Canada Day family celebrations.
