The inauguration of the new ParisLongchamp-closed for two years for reconstruction and upgrades-will take place on Apr. 29 and will be highlighted by the G1 Prix Ganay. That race will have its prizemoney doubled to €600,000 for the occasion. Special activities for the day will include a concert, and tickets are now available for free download on the ParisLongchamp website.
ParisLongchamp will host 34 meetings in 2018, the same as it did in its last year of operation in 2015. In addition to the G1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe and the French Guineas' returning to Longchamp, those dates will include Jeuxdi by ParisLongchamp, a new initiative to get Parisians to the racetrack after work on Thursday evenings. Those cards will include food and drinks, live concerts and DJs.
