+EVALUATOR (c, 2, Overanalyze–Show Me the Carats, by More Than Ready) rallied with an eye-catching wide move to capture his career debut at Saratoga Wednesday, becoming the 12th winner for his freshman sire (by Dixie Union). Away to a noticeably slow start, the chestnut bided his time well off the pace behind fractions of :23.12 and :47.12 and circled the field with a sweeping wide move on the turn. Kept to his task after he hit the front in the lane, the colt held firm in the final furlong and reported home four lengths in front of Singapore Trader (Flatter), who held on best of the horses closest to the early pace. The winner hails from the family of MGISW Fowda (Strawberry Road {Aus}). Show Me the Carats is also responsible for a yearling colt by First Samurai and a weanling filly by Orb.
