The catalogue for the 2017 Osarus Breeze-Up and Horses-in-Training Sale is now available online at the company's website www.osarus.com. A total of 105 horses–78 2-year-olds and 27 horses in training have been catalogued for the auction, to be held Wednesday, Apr. 26, at La Teste.
The La Teste breeze-up sale has produced such notable runners as Qatar Oaks victress Mango Tango (Fr) (Siyouni {Fr}), and Haras de Saint Arnoult, who sold the latter to MAB Agency for €50,000 at the 2015 sale, is represented by the largest draft in 2017. The consignment is eight strong, led by hip 74, a Helmet (Aus) half-brother to the SW Zarwaan (GB) (Dutch Art {GB}), whose second dam Dublino (Lear Fan) was a Grade I winner in the US.
Wootton Bassett (GB), sire of French and Irish highweight Almanzor (Fr), could help get the sale off to a positive start as he accounts for hip 1, a sister to L'Idealiste (Fr), a winner and placed three times from her four career starts.
The horses-in-training section include drafts from trainers Simone Brogi, Ana Imaz Ceca, Fabrice Chappet, Christophe Ferland, Charles Gourdain and Philippe Sogorb.
